Acoustic three piece records at Beehouse

The Beehouse has been fortunate over the weekend to welcome a very talented trio of musicians hailing from Ellesmere. Ian, Ian and Lynne come as an acoustic line-up of double bass, guitar, piano and vocals, and laid down two excellent original versions of "Cry Me a River", written by Arthur Hamilton, and made famous by Julie London, and Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", with beautifully resonant vocals by Lynne, and superb instrumentals by the two Ians.

The trio are seen in this picture - great to have a real acoustic bass in the studio!
