For some years I have been writing and playing music for recorders, overdubbing the parts myself: and I had hit a block. The quality of the recordings wes nearly what i wanted, and wasn't gettin any better. I booked a session at the beehouse to see how the pros go about it and for advice on microphone type and placement.
In the course of the day I learned great deal, both in answer to my specific questions and in general conversation about equipment, techniques, software, effects and plugins. I now have a range of possiblities to explore in my own work, as well as a memory stick full of recorder tracks to listen to an remix.
Many thanks. Richard, Stoke On Trent
